TULIPS OF FATE

Granvill, a handsome, ambitious, yet mysterious man in his younger years, has retired to the life he envisioned, in a small village far away from everyone, in the midst of the natural beauty of the surrounding mountains and lakes.

With no job to go to, and the full freedom to do what he wants every day for the rest of his life, he is taking on Kindness as the way to guide his existence. When he made the choice to retire, was he in full control of his plan or did fate have something else in store for him?

Through Granvill’s personal journey, this truthful yet imaginative, warm, and gentle story explores topics like our place in society, expectations from others, relationships between strangers, the effect of inevitable changes, fate, balance, love, friendship, and humanity.

5.0 out of 5 stars Such a sweet book!

Overall, I enjoyed this sweet book. It is full of reminders and lessons to slow down and enjoy your life before it passes. I enjoyed the main character and the journey that he was on. He was very generous and genuine, and it made me think this author may be a lot like him in many ways! The labels for the other characters throughout the story was something else that I enjoyed, because it highlighted how we view other people in society- just scratching the surface. One of the main characters was called “the Person who Smiles at Everybody” for example. This woman was using her smile to hide how she was feeling inside, and I enjoyed seeing her character develop over the course of the book. All of the characters were more than what they first appeared to be.⁣

This type of book is very different than what I typically read, but I thought it was refreshing. I’m so glad the author reached out and gave me the opportunity to read and review this!⁣
